Eileen is a very experienced and successful Ragdoll breeder and certainly has the background in the breed to work appropriately with unaccepted variants and experimental projects if she wants.
That's great maybe I will ask her about them thanxSmile
Interesting that she chose to work with "whites" and would wonder why? Yes, they are beautiful, but a great plus is watching the color change of a "ragdoll".
I dont know this person, but from the looks of it i get the impression that she is carefull because there might be problems in a couple of generations. People should in general be carefull when starting breeding blue eyed white cats. an example now is the discussion with siamese and oriental that can be in same litter, and registered just by the color. And the problem on how you can know if its "safe white" or "deaf white".
Although it once seemed there were genetic sources of all white cats that did not include an increased deafness risk, it is now reported that the increase applies to all. It seems there is no "safe white."
Oh wow had no idea I thought if the parents were healthy bew then the kitttens woul be too that's unfortunate
These are very beautiful cats, I always wanted a blue eyed with cat, ever since disneys Aristocats. Now I have ragdolls, personally I feel the points and the colour coming in is part of what makes the breed for meSmile
I've been to that breeder's site before and have admired her white ragdolls - even though all white is not a part of the ragdoll breed standard.

White cats are majestic, ethereal, heavenly and royal looking. Personally, I've always wanted an all white cat with the PERSONALITY of a ragdoll.

That being said, I'd be to afraid to get an all white with blue eyes because of the fear of deafness. I've read if the cats aren't born deaf, there's a chance they could become deaf later on.

If it were possible to get ALL WHITE cats with GREEN eyes and the RAGDOLL PERSONALITY - I'd be the first one pulling out my credit card.
