I heard her chasing a bug. It sounded like a fly. By the time I turned around, she had it on the floor and it was a wasp. She got stung on the chin. I called the vet and they said to give her benedryl. Thank God we had some at some children's benedryl at the house. She was freaking out and she hates being given medicine and went wild on me. I got about 1.5 cc's in her. Hopefully it's enough to help her. She's going around the house foaming at the mouth and won't let me near her. She didn't need this now with her dealing with Beau and all.
Hopefully when the meds kick in, she will let me hold her. I am so thankful I was working from home today.

Give her something special for dinner tonight perhaps? Along with pumpkin to ward off loose stools maybe?
Poor Sweetheart, I remember when Freyr got stung on his paw and I gave him benedryl, I had never given that before - the foaming scared me and he hid under the bed for quite a while
. I was surprised at how much his paw swelled.
Make sure she can still eat and drink if she swells up. She is not having a good week.
My goodness Rhonda.........I remember when I was a little girl and I got stung by a bee, my mom would give me lots of kisses right on my bee sting and it got all better........so, PLEASE give Kasia a big old KISS from me and the boys..That should do it........!!!!
Her foaming at the mouth didn't scare me too much. She's a little drama queen and when I had to give her antiobiotic once she was like that too.
She just ate several treats and is hanging out under the Christmas tree. So, I don't think the sting was too serious. The silly girl wouldn't let me
get the wasp though. Finally I got it, before she got stung again. Such excitement! HA!
Poor Kasia - first her mom brings home another baby, then she gets stung by a wasp and afterwards her mom puts yukky meds in her mouth....what can happen next?
Hope she's doing ok.
