Hey Guys,

Indigo and Violet are both 13 weeks old now and have settled in very well.
The only odd thing is violet sucks on indies fur for ages like she is trying to feed from him.
She usually sucks on his neck until he is absolutely saturated..
We want to try to make her stop but have no idea what to do.. it gets very irritating especially when it wakes you up at 3am because she is sucking so loud...
Does any one have any advice or been through a similar thing?

My Teddy did that to his brother Rudy.....It didn't bother Rudy - so I let it go. He finally stopped. I'm sure others on here have had the same situation ----I think it's just a kitty thing.....sorry, not much help....

Most kittens will stop given time. Some will not. There is not much you can do about it. That is up to the "victim." Sometimes the two cats will bond very tightly, so that may be a silver lining.

When Beau first arrived, he used to nurse on Rags. RAgs did not seem to mind and we let it run its course. As he matured and did not need that calming, he finally stopped. He absolutely adores Rags and follows him around. I would not worry about it. I don't think he was completely totally weaned when he arrived and that contributed to it. I remember my breeder laughing that he had "one for the road" when I picked him up.
