I had been trying for weeks to get new pictures of the girls. Not only did I hope to use them for the Christmas card, but also to have newer pictures of them. I went to the fabric store, bought the fabric, laid it out on the couch and . . . no cooperation. I tried every treat and toy to try to get them to sit there. Sara Blue would be sitting there, only to jump down as I was trying to focus the camera. Analiese did not even want to get anywhere near the fabric. Here are two shots to show my attempts.

Let's just say, I put away the fabric, choose an older picture for the cards and decided to try again another day. I left the camera out, intending to continue to get shots of the girls, but also to use in the coming weeks as Christmas decorations are put up.

Mind you, I have gotten lovely shots of Sara Blue over the years. I swear at times that she is posing. Analiese, on the other hand, I think is afraid of the camera, almost as though she is afraid that the camera will capture and take away some of her cuteness.

Today, however, was a different story. The lighting was right as she was just sitting on the corner of the couch while I was surfing the internet. I was able to grab the camera, turn it on, focus and get some wonderful pictures.

Here are some shots of my cutie-pie, my little 'un, my Analiese ~

She has such a pretty face and I love her eyes. My Annie is hard to take pics of too. These are really nice of Analiese!
Beautiful, I really like the 3rd picture. Her eyes look amazing Big Grin
She's so gorgeous! So glad she was in a posing mood and chose the 'right' location to do it, lovely pics!
She is beautiful, her eyes are stunning Smile
At least Analiese cooperated. I think there are lots of us on this forum that have camera shy kitties. I'm blaming it on the kitties and not me. Smile
She sure is a cutie-pie!! Nice pictures.
Those are great pictures! What a pretty, pretty, girl!
Oh she is so beautiful. Is it maybe the flash that bothers her. Since I have learned not to use the flash and use the tripod and just keeping clicking (keeping only the good ones) My shyer raggies are better at having pictures taken.

BTW your card was lovely.
Analiese and I want to thank everyone for the kind thoughts.

Regarding picture taking, I do take the pictures without the flash on, so that is not what startles her. She has just never been good with letting me take her picture. I usually just have to catch her in a candid moment. That is why I was so excited and pleased to get these new pictures of her.
