I had been trying for weeks to get new pictures of the girls. Not only did I hope to use them for the Christmas card, but also to have newer pictures of them. I went to the fabric store, bought the fabric, laid it out on the couch and . . . no cooperation. I tried every treat and toy to try to get them to sit there. Sara Blue would be sitting there, only to jump down as I was trying to focus the camera. Analiese did not even want to get anywhere near the fabric. Here are two shots to show my attempts.

Let's just say, I put away the fabric, choose an older picture for the cards and decided to try again another day. I left the camera out, intending to continue to get shots of the girls, but also to use in the coming weeks as Christmas decorations are put up.
Mind you, I have gotten lovely shots of Sara Blue over the years. I swear at times that she is posing. Analiese, on the other hand, I think is afraid of the camera, almost as though she is afraid that the camera will capture and take away some of her cuteness.
Today, however, was a different story. The lighting was right as she was just sitting on the corner of the couch while I was surfing the internet. I was able to grab the camera, turn it on, focus and get some wonderful pictures.
Here are some shots of my cutie-pie, my little 'un, my Analiese ~
