His breeder has always said that Parker is a blue bicolor lynx...but the more I look at him, and compare to pics of Raggies i've seen, I'm wondering if he will darken up to a seal color...What do you guys think? His tail is fairly dark..and so are his ears..But I wanted to get a "second opinion"
For reference, his mom is a seal lynx bicolor and dad is a gorgeous seal point with amazing blue eyes (a dark blue, which I wish Parker inherited)
I don't mind either way blue or seal..he's still just as cute
another pic...his ears are darker than the other blue kittens from the same breeder..

I have 2 seal lynx bi-colors and a seal bi-color. I also have a blue lynx bi-color Miles. It's hard to tell from pictures but based on the photo I would say seal. He is a cutie

Ahh! sorry, i just realized i posted under the wrong category

my mistake.
Blues sometimes have a tawny color to them. Tootsie has a drop dead gorgeous blue bicolor that looks seal to me but he just has a lot of tawny color. It just fascinates me. I'm glad I only have pets and don't breed Ragdolls. I'll leave that to the experts.
I have (soon) a seal bi color, and I don't know much about coloring, especially with babies, but his ears and tails look as dark as Hugo's... I guess it'll be a surprise! And great pictures! He is so stinkin cute!!
He looks very much like Tibbs, my seal lynx bicolor, looked at 4 months. Now at 8 months, Tibbs' face is getting darker while his body remains tawny where it isn't white. Funny, but sometimes I've wondered if Tibbs was actually a blue lynx bicolor. Guess we just have to wait to see how our boys develop.
To me he looks blue. When I think seal I think blacks and dark browns. He looks grey which is what I see as blue. Maybe a dark blue. Of course all is impossible in pictures and you will have to watch and see or have a test. I do know that some chocolates turn seal and testing will be the only way you know for sure
Blue / Seal.... time will tell! But whatever he is, he's gorgeous!
I think blue, and you can definitely see the lynx lines.
When Annie was little, it was the opposite. She is a seal bi-color but many folks thought that she was a blue because she was so light.
I have heard that two seals can make a blue, but two blues cannot make a seal. Not sure how true that is.
At any rate, he is a sweetheart - enjoy the fun.
