Admin, Stormi, Nicky, Jan, ANYONE.....i am trying to get an avatar on, and when i resize it to 100x100 it says that it is too large, so when i manage to resize to 10kb or 9.03 to be exact....it is so small that you cannot see it. I am trying to resize it with Adobe Photoshop.....i am a bit green at the software, any help is appreciated......its nice to see the boys up there with all of the other gorgeous looking avatars.....HELP please
I just checked my avatar photo with photoshop. First I would check in image size on photoshop that you are making it 100 pixels not 100% In print size my picture size is around 1.5cm wide x 1.2cm high and resolution reads 180 pixels/inch. Hard to say without seeing it but hope this helps. If not keep asking we will work it out eventually!
Cheers, Nicky.
Nicky, you could be talking german...LOL i have no idea. When i am in my catalog, i find the pic i want then export it...before i export i resize, custom and work my way down from there, i end up at 16 pixels x 16 pixels which is the smallest and this gives me under the 10kb limit.....HELP...you know you can- your good at this - i know you are!!!!!!
What type of file are you saving it as? I recommend using jpg or jpeg, both will size smaller, but give good resolution. Please feel free to email me the picture you would like to use, and I can resize it for you and send it back for you to upload. I don't mind, just email me.
Can't wait to see the pic!!Smile
